HVAC Technician

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires travel to multiple job sites and involves working both independently and collaboratively within a team structure reporting directly to the Operations Manager. The technician must adhere to safety standards and provide excellent customer support while managing various scheduling demands including shift work and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues efficiently
• Conduct regular inspections and equipment testing to ensure optimal performance
• Provide timely customer support and address client concerns professionally
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Document all service activities, repairs, and inspections accurately
• Travel to multiple job sites, approximately 25-50% of the time
• Adapt to varying schedules including standard business hours, shift work, and on-call duties

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC service
• EPA Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of HVAC systems including residential and commercial applications
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting related to HVAC equipment
• Experience with refrigeration systems
