Arconic is currently in search of HVAC Technician to join our teams based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

You have: (required)

  • 2 year technical degree in HVAC or dual trade OR
  • 2 years of HVAC or dual trade Experience

In this role, you will:

  • Troubleshoot and repair all types of refrigeration systems.

  • Follow the plan, and layout for the installation/repair, and maintenance of refrigeration equipment. Includes using blueprints and specifications.

  • Troubleshoot system performance problems including:

  • Diagnose of energy control circuits.

  • Diagnose failed compressor parts for determining causes of compressor failures.

  • Record and interpret temperature and pressure readings taken from an operating system, and to diagnose refrigeration system problems.

  • Perform component start-up and checkout procedures, including standard gas valves.

  • Set-up economizer unit.

  • Test and service single and three phase electrical systems and components.

  • Install system piping.

  • Interpret NEC and ANSI style control wiring diagrams.

  • Properly handle, rig, and place refrigeration equipment, as needed.

  • Assist and verify work performed by outside contractors, including, but not limited to, coolant recovery, equipment overhaul, equipment check out and equipment start-up.

In this role, you will:
