M-F 8am - 4:30pm - with available OT
Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:
This role is covering half of Atlanta, approximately 45 stores
CBRE van and tools will be provided
Must be comfortable working independently with minimal oversight

Candidate will be working mostly independently

- Candidate will plan their day to day based on work orders and where they are located.
- Candidate will travel from store to store based on work order management system and priority
- HVAC and refrigeration maintenance/service

EPA 608 Universal license or Types 1, 2, and 3
Driver''s license
Must Have Skills:
Experience working with refrigeration
- Walk-if Freezers, coolers, reach-in refrigeration units
Commercial HVAC experience
Commercial Split System experience
Exhaust Fan experience
Nice to have skills:
Ability to adapt and learn
Work order management system experience
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good customer service skills

Education
h.s. diploma or GED, trade school is a plus

About the Role:
As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You''ll Do:
- Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
- Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
- Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

What You''ll Need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver''s license required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
