Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm (Contract-to-Hire)

Pay Range: $25.00 – $25.00 per hour

Base Salary Range: $50,000 – $56,000 annually

Job Summary

We are seeking an HVAC/R Maintenance Technician with intermediate-level expertise to support facility operations in industrial, commercial, and logistics environments, including clean rooms. This role involves troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of HVAC and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

·         Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems.
·         Conduct inspections, monitor equipment, and adjust system levels to ensure optimal performance.
·         Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, rooftop AHUs, split systems, compressors, refrigeration units, and related systems.
·         Utilize building automation systems to monitor facility conditions and equipment operation.
·         Recharge refrigerants, check for leaks, and ensure proper refrigerant cycle operation.
·         Document work orders and maintenance activities in a CMMS.
·         Follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout, PPE usage, and hazard analysis.
·         Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers during site emergencies.
·         Maintain compliance with industry standards, codes, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Minimum Qualifications

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         3+ years of experience as an HVAC/R maintenance technician in industrial or commercial environments, or equivalent education/experience.

·         Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet using aerial or scissor lifts.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to pass medical evaluation and respirator fit testing.

·         Must pass pre-employment substance abuse testing.

·         Valid driver’s license.

·         U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required for facility authorization.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
