Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of HVAC/R systems and related mechanical equipment.
* Respond to service calls and conduct preventive maintenance inspections using diagnostic tools and testing instruments.
* Interpret blueprints, schematics, control systems, and energy management system data to support facility operations.
* Prepare work orders, material requisitions, maintenance reports, and assist with directing trades helpers and other maintenance personnel.
Required Skills & Experience
* Technical school diploma or equivalent experience with 5+ years of HVAC/R maintenance and installation experience.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, controls, compressors, motors, piping, dampers, and related support systems.
* Ability to read blueprints and schematics with knowledge of applicable local, state, and national codes.
* Valid Driver"s License and EPA Type II Certification required.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Experience working in industrial, healthcare, educational, or large facility environments.
* New Jersey Pesticide License or ability to obtain and maintain certification.
Compensation
* $30-$35/hour based on experience.
