    Description

    Start your new career as an HVAC Technician with MAU at Milliken- Pendleton Finishing in Pendleton, SC. As an HVAC Technician, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and related mechanical and electrical systems throughout the plant.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Ability to read, write, and follow directions
    • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
    • Basic math skills
    • Good communication skills
    • Strong discipline and attention to safety
    • Ability to operate a forklift, power tugger, and hoist
    • Ability to learn and use the MES computer system
    • Understanding of HVAC equipment functions
    • Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems
    • Understanding of electrical AC/DC and control systems
    • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
    • Knowledge of general safety procedures, PPE, and 70E requirements
    • Ability to document work and perform root cause analysis using 5 Why
    • Ability to organize and maintain spare parts inventory
    • Must be able to hear power equipment operating in the work area
    • Must be able to see clearly
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

    What You'll Do as an HVAC Technician:

    • Complete regularly scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment throughout the plant
    • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC units, air handlers, air washers, chillers, panel AC units, exhaust fans, and related equipment
    • Assist with plant-wide equipment troubleshooting and issue resolution
    • Complete assigned maintenance projects
    • Support shared ownership across departments as assigned
    • Maintain accurate inventory of spare equipment and parts
    • Coordinate with contractors during installations or major repairs
    • Maintain regulatory records, including preventive maintenance and refrigerant logs
    • Follow all required PPE and safety procedures, including 70E requirements when working in live panels over 48V
