Job Description
Duties and responsibilities of the HVAC technician:
- Travel to residential and/or commercial businesses daily as scheduled
- Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
- Diagnose and repair problems
- Install new heating, cooling and ventilation systems
- Perform consultations with customers
- Complying with all the appliance standards
- Installation, repairing and maintenance of air conditioners
- Diagnose defects in components as well as wires and finding solutions to solve the defect
- Conduct performance tests with specialized tools
- Ensuring that all the safety procedures are followed
Qualifications:
· 3 years’ experience preferred
· A valid driver’s license
· EPA Certification
· Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
· Ability to communicate effectively
· Must be available for on-call service and rotating calls including weekends
