ASRC Federal System Solutions, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking an HVAC Technician to support our Prime program at Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Welcome, MD for the Naval Research Lab.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and service of HVAC systems
- Diagnose, repair, or replace HVAC equipment as needed
- Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and related mechanical systems
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on mechanical and HVAC-related matters
- Support planning, procurement, and administrative tasks for facility projects
- Perform commercial HVAC testing and balancing
- Work with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Conduct hydronic and sound testing
- Perform ductwork and sheet metal installation and repairs
- Maintain working knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment
- Collaborate with and assist other skilled trades as required
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as an HVAC technician
- 3-5 years of experience working in government or secured facilities
- Journeyman HVAC license (required)
- EPA CFC certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Security Clearance
Active SECRET clearance (or higher) required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
