ASRC Federal System Solutions, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking an HVAC Technician to support our Prime program at Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Welcome, MD for the Naval Research Lab.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and service of HVAC systems
  • Diagnose, repair, or replace HVAC equipment as needed
  • Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and related mechanical systems
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on mechanical and HVAC-related matters
  • Support planning, procurement, and administrative tasks for facility projects
  • Perform commercial HVAC testing and balancing
  • Work with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Conduct hydronic and sound testing
  • Perform ductwork and sheet metal installation and repairs
  • Maintain working knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment
  • Collaborate with and assist other skilled trades as required

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience as an HVAC technician
  • 3-5 years of experience working in government or secured facilities
  • Journeyman HVAC license (required)
  • EPA CFC certification (required)
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

Security Clearance

Active SECRET clearance (or higher) required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
