We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facility Maintenance Technician, with a focus in Industrial HVAC, to join our team at a solar panel warehouse in White, GA. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, efficient, and operational facility by ensuring that all warehouse equipment, utilities, and building systems are functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of maintenance practices, safety regulations, and troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical systems, with a commitment to supporting sustainable energy operations.
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment, to prevent breakdowns and optimize warehouse efficiency.
Equipment Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, conveyor belts, and solar panel testing equipment.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Emergency Response: Act quickly in response to equipment malfunctions or system breakdowns to minimize disruptions in warehouse operations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, and report issues or incidents to the Facility Manager.
Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, and reorder materials as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with facility staff and management to support special projects, installations, or equipment upgrades, particularly those that align with sustainability goals.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in facility maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Experience in solar or renewable energy facilities is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Familiarity with solar equipment or warehouse machinery is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and stand or walk for extended periods.
