Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system failures accurately and efficiently
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
• Communicate repair options and recommendations clearly to homeowners
• Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts inventory
• Represent Bassett Home Heating professionally on every job site

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation and service experience
• EPA 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification required
• Valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency with HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills across heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle on-call shifts
