Shift Hours: 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday – Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory testing in line with standard procedures and ISO 17025 standards.
- Perform scheduled instrument checks and facility maintenance.
- Set up and operate complex lab equipment and instruments.
- Identify and report any nonconformities or unusual testing conditions.
- Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to standards, policies, and procedures.
- Stay informed about safety policies and regulations to ensure safe practices.
- Communicate effectively with laboratory and project teams.
- Obtain necessary training or certifications for equipment operation.
- Document testing activities as per laboratory procedures.
- Continuously seek to improve laboratory activities and implement corrective/preventative actions.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and make repairs to test units and facilities.
- Provide guidance and training to other technicians as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in HVAC&R or related experience.
- Experience in a mechanical test lab or field service is preferred.
- Preferred certifications: Fork truck, Man lift training/license, Universal card, or R410a card.
- Previous mentorship experience is a plus.
