HVAC Training Program CoordinatorHorne Heating and Air ConditioningCharlotte, NCPart-Time | Approximately 15-25 Hours Per WeekPay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour based on experienceSupport the Future of HVAC Training at HorneHorne Heating and Air Conditioning is hiring an HVAC Training Program Coordinator to help organize and support our Technical Academy and apprenticeship initiatives.This is a part-time administrative and program coordination role for someone who enjoys keeping schedules, records, training materials, and people organized. You'll work with instructors, department leaders, mentors, and apprentices to keep technical training programs running smoothly and ensure participants have the information and resources they need.Since 1983, Horne has invested in developing great people and creating opportunities for long-term careers. Our Technical Academy continues that commitment by helping employees build the skills needed to succeed in the HVAC industry.Why Join Horne?$18.00-$24.00 per hour based on experienceApproximately 15-25 hours per weekFlexible part-time scheduleOpportunity to support HVAC apprenticeship and workforce developmentCollaborative environment working with multiple departmentsEstablished company serving the Charlotte area since 1983Meaningful role supporting employee education and career developmentOpportunity to contribute to the continued growth of Horne's Technical AcademyWhat You'll DoCoordinate Technical Academy schedules, classes, and training activitiesMaintain apprentice enrollment, attendance, certification, and progress recordsOrganize training materials, presentations, manuals, and curriculum resourcesCoordinate instructor calendars and classroom needsCommunicate program information with apprentices, mentors, instructors, and department leadersAssist with onboarding and technical training activitiesSupport internal workshops, educational sessions, and company training eventsPrepare program reports and maintain accurate documentationOrder and organize classroom materials and training resourcesHelp keep apprenticeship requirements and documentation on trackAssist with leadership development and other employee training initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve program organization and administrative processesWhat We're Looking ForTwo or more years of experience in program coordination, administrative support, training, education, human resources, or a related roleStrong organizational and scheduling abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and recordkeepingAbility to coordinate multiple projects and deadlinesProfessional written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft OfficeAbility to work independently while coordinating with several departmentsComfortable communicating with employees at different stages of their careersProfessional judgment when handling employee and program informationExperience with apprenticeship programs, workforce development, curriculum coordination, or employee training is especially valuable.Experience within HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, home services, or another skilled trade is helpful but not required.Familiarity with learning management systems, HRIS platforms, or training software is also a plus.
