West Coast Heating, Air and Solar are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC Warranty Technician to support our Service, Maintenance, and Installation teams. This role is ideal for a seasoned HVAC professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, supporting team development, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.



Position Overview

The HVAC Warranty Technician plays a critical role in diagnosing and resolving warranty and recall-related issues across both service and installation functions. This position requires strong technical expertise, clear communication, and a passion for training and continuous improvement.



Key Responsibilities

  • Perform warranty and recall service work across HVAC Service/Maintenance and Installation departments
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete repairs with a high level of accuracy
  • Provide technical support and guidance to HVAC technicians in the field
  • Document service work thoroughly, including completion of warranty-related forms in ServiceTitan
  • Communicate recall-related findings to appropriate managers within a 24-hour timeframe
  • Collaborate with managers to identify trends and training opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to issue resolution and process refinement
  • Engage with manufacturer technical support when needed
  • Assist the Service department during high-demand periods


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC service and/or installation
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across residential systems
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and accurate service documentation
  • Experience working with ServiceTitan or similar field service software (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train, mentor, and support fellow technicians
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • EPA Certification is a MUST
