HVACR Field Service Specialist — Commercial Systems

Your Impact

  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on a wide range of commercial/industrial HVAC equipment
  • Diagnose performance issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
  • Repair/replace faulty parts, components, and wiring to restore operation
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment as assigned
  • Service and fine-tune HVAC controls across various equipment brands
  • Perform functional and performance tests to verify system readiness
  • Communicate clearly with customers about work performed, recommendations, and next steps
  • Document all work accurately using iPads/computers and service software
  • Keep current with new HVAC technologies, methods, and tools

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Journeyman-level HVAC service/repair experience; capable of independent work and customer interfacing
  • A refrigeration certification is required; additional refrigeration certifications are desired (Journeyman license not required)
  • Proven troubleshooting ability and comprehensive HVAC systems knowledge
  • Experience with refrigeration, hydronic, and airside systems
  • Ability to service multi-brand HVAC controls
  • Deep understanding of control system operations; we do not install controls, but you will manipulate them from the console to troubleshoot and optimize operation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with iPads, computers, and service software
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
