Description Employer: Amazon Web Services, Inc. Position: HW Commodity Specialist III - AMZ16828.13 Location: Seattle, WA Multiple Positions Available: Leads the execution of strategic supply chain initiatives to enhance service levels, streamline operations, and improve product quality, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and end-to-end supply chain vision. Develops and implements robust accountability systems to drive continuous, measurable performance improvements across supply chain, from sourcing to production and fulfillment. Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal and external development teams to guide the direction of the supply chain activities. Prepare and present detailed data-driven business reviews and Supply Chain strategy to senior leadership, focused on supply chain risk management including cost roadmap, definition of capacity plan and associated sourcing and supply chain risk assessment & mitigation plans. Drive strategic supply chain risk reviews and mitigations with internal teams including supplier performance, capability development, capacity planning, contracting, and cost and quality improvements. Alternatively, employer will accept 2 years of experience in job offered or related industry experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, and 2 years of experience in job offered or related industry experience. Each of the following skills are required: 1. 2 years of experience with strategic sourcing, supply chain or procurement of hardware. 2. 2 years of experience with MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 3. 2 years of experience with Excel Pivots and Charts. 4. 2 years of experience in business writing and communication. The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $147900 - $200100 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
