Opportunity Overview:
We are recruiting for a Hardware Test Technician within our New Product Introduction Group (NPI-Pilot Line team), Clients Memory Business Unit to join our team in San Jose, CA.
This role is on site in our San Jose, CA office 5x week.
Responsible for conducting tests and evaluations on products (Tester and PCBA) to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Conduct Testing: Test technicians perform various tests to evaluate the functionality, reliability, and durability of clients products.
This can include stress tests, performance evaluations, and quality assurance checks.
Document Results: After conducting tests, recording and interpreting the results, providing detailed data to engineers and stakeholders to inform product development and improvements.
Maintain Equipment: Test technicians are responsible for the upkeep of testing equipment, including regular cleaning, calibration, debug and repairs to ensure accurate testing results.
Must Have:
Able to troubleshoot PCBA at component level
Able to repair PCBA at component level
Able to use and troubleshoot Test Equipment Tools (Oscilloscope, Meter)
Able to identify product and equipment failures
5+ years of related experience is desired
Must be able to communicate with cross functional personnel (Verbally and by email)
The ability to be on site 5x days a week, between 7am-5pm
Able to use Client Office (Excel/Word/PDF/etc.)
Ability of lift up to 50 pounds
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Needs to be able to work independently with minimal supervision
