The Hybrid Capital Specialist supports investment and capital teams in the execution, monitoring, and analysis of hybrid financing structures. The role combines financial modeling, transaction support, and operational oversight to ensure efficient deployment and management of hybrid capital across private and public markets.
This position involves close collaboration with deal teams, portfolio managers, risk and compliance teams, and operations to ensure accurate structuring, execution, and reporting of hybrid capital investments.
Support the structuring, execution, and monitoring of hybrid capital transactions, including mezzanine debt, preferred equity, convertible instruments, and other hybrid financing vehicles
Perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment for hybrid capital investments
Assist in due diligence, documentation review, and closing processes for transactions
Monitor portfolio performance, P&L, and risk exposure in hybrid investment portfolios
Build and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for hybrid capital structures
Track market trends, pricing, and liquidity conditions relevant to hybrid financing instruments
Identify operational or financial inefficiencies and propose solutions to enhance transaction quality
Prepare daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reports for senior management and investment committees
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of hybrid capital, structured finance, and private credit markets
Experience or coursework in financial modeling, credit analysis, or hybrid capital structuring (preferred but not required)
Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or VBA is a plus
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments
Clear written and verbal communication skills
