This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in high-profile cases, working directly with attorneys and clients on complex litigation matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of legal tasks, including document preparation, trial preparation, document review, managing the discovery process, and ensuring legal compliance. You will also be required to use legal case management software and reveal software, with a strong understanding of Florida court and US district court procedures. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of legal documents and pleadings.
- Conduct extensive legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
- Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests and responses, organizing and reviewing documents, and preparing for depositions.
- Prepare for trials by organizing exhibits, assisting with witness preparation, and managing all trial logistics.
- Ensure legal compliance in all actions and documents, staying updated on current laws and regulations.
- Utilize legal case management software to track cases, deadlines, and client information.
- Use reveal software for electronic discovery and data analysis.
- Understand and navigate Florida court and US district court procedures, rules, and deadlines.
- Collaborate with legal team to develop legal strategies and support case progression.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in a fast-paced law firm environment.
- A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent legal qualification.
- Proficient in legal document preparation, trial preparation, document review, and the discovery process.
- Familiarity with legal case management software and reveal software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Florida court and US district court procedures.
- Strong understanding of legal compliance requirements.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
