Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Hybrid Technical Writer for a 3-month contract job with a client in Sacramento, CA. You will need to be an experienced Technical Writer to develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation for its products. Hybrid: Onsite 2 days a week.
Rate Range: $45.00/hour to $50.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Hybrid Technical Writer job responsibilities include:
Responsible for creating user manuals, technical data sheets, and other customer-facing documentation
Translating complex engineering and technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand language.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience using Heretto and DITA for structured authoring and content management required
Proven experience creating user manuals, technical documentation, and product data sheets
Strong ability to simplify technical terminology for end users
Excellent written communication and attention to detail
Construction industry experience preferred
