Job Description
Perform inspections using a variety of precision measurement and testing equipment, including micrometers, calipers, vision systems, and automated inspection tools.
Program and operate advanced automated inspection equipment to verify product quality and compliance.
Develop and implement fixtures and tooling to support inspection processes.
Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet customer and internal quality requirements.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and process instructions to verify conformance.
Record and maintain accurate inspection data within company systems and databases.
Support engineering and manufacturing teams by inspecting prototype and specialised components.
Identify quality concerns and make acceptance decisions in accordance with established procedures and standards.
Ensure inspection equipment remains calibrated, maintained, and in proper working condition.
Assist with continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and operational performance.

The Successful Applicant
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience inspecting precision machined components within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of metrology, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience using CMMs, vision systems, and automated inspection equipment is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and visual inspection capabilities.
