Hydraulic Maintenance Technician

Location: Lynwood, CA
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
Schedule: Must be flexible to work later hours as needed.
Pay: $90,000–$120,000/year

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically skilled, and experienced in preventive maintenance and hydraulic diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including fluid changes, filter replacements, and system calibrations.
• Install and test hydraulic equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow OSHA and company safety standards.
• Respond to emergency repairs and support equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years of hydraulic maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and use diagnostic equipment.
• Basic welding, fabrication, and computer skills preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
• Manufacturing or extrusion experience is a plus.
