Job Title: Hydraulic/Pneumatic- Sr Engineering Technician
Location: Torrance, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Requirement: Must be US Citizen.
Tuesday - Saturday SHIFT
Pay rate: $35 - $38
1st Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm , OT possible.

Introduction

This position involves high volume repetitive testing of commercial and military precision hydraulic/pneumatic high-pressure systems in fluid power. The role requires a candidate who is self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and consistently takes the initiative to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Previous testing and troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• Ability to make timely decisions even in complex situations.
• High school degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience in the field.
• Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with systematic analysis and decisiveness in decision-making.
• Experience in improving efficiency and establishing standard production rates.
• Experience in directing and leading the work of others.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct high volume repetitive testing of hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Study and record time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency.
• Perform a variety of complicated tasks and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
