About the Company
The client is a commercial hydraulic hose and hydraulic service and repair shop serving customers in the heavy equipment, construction, trucking, industrial, and machinery industries.
We are looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined Hydraulic Hose Technician / Counter Sales professional to join our team in Pomona, CA.
Job Responsibilities
- Build, repair, and replace hydraulic hose assemblies
- Measure, cut, clean, and crimp hydraulic hoses
- Identify and work with hydraulic hoses, fittings, adapters, and connections
- Identify the correct parts and assist customers at the counter
- Work with hydraulic components used on construction and heavy equipment
- Receive, organize, and maintain inventory
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and work accurately in a fast-paced shop environment
Required / Preferred Qualifications
Hydraulic hose experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with the following is highly desirable:
- Hydraulic hose assembly and repair
- Hydraulic hose crimping equipment
- Hydraulic fittings and adapters
- JIC, NPT, ORFS, SAE, and other common hydraulic connections
- Heavy equipment or construction equipment
- Industrial parts or counter sales
- Reading measurements and identifying hose and fitting sizes
- Working directly with commercial customers
Candidates with related mechanical experience may also be considered, including:
- Heavy equipment
