Role snapshot

• Hands-on diagnosis and repair of aerial, construction, and light/heavy-duty truck equipment.
• Full-cycle service: inspections, troubleshooting, parts replacement, and repairs for rental, customer, and company units.

Schedule & rewards

Training & advancement

Training on utility equipment is provided for qualified mechanics so you can expand your capabilities quickly.

What you’ll work on

• Truck & chassis: Medium/heavy-duty diesel platforms; diagnostics with Cummins Insite, Detroit, Snap-On; DOT inspections.
• Utility equipment: Aerial/bucket trucks, boom trucks, digger derricks; LMI/LML systems; dielectric testing.
• Hydraulics: Leak diagnosis, cylinder repair, schematic reading; troubleshoot pumps, booms, outriggers, PTO systems.
• Electrical: Power/ground/CAN fault tracing; diagram interpretation; meter use; repairs to batteries, harnesses, ECM/TCM, etc.

Education & background

• High school trades, Vo-Tech, or diesel programs.
• Military wheeled/track mechanic experience.
• On-the-job training or hands-on mechanical work.

Licensing & tools

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Mechanic tools.
