Standby Personnel is seeking dependable and motivated hardworking and safety-focused Hydro Blaster Helper. This position is responsible for performing high-pressure water blasting and industrial cleaning services at industrial, refinery, manufacturing, and commercial job sites. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operate hydro blasting and high-pressure water jetting equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform industrial cleaning of tanks, vessels, pipes, heat exchangers, and other equipment.
Set up and break down hydro blasting equipment and hoses.
Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper operation.
Follow all site-specific safety requirements and company policies.
Assist with vacuum truck operations and other industrial cleaning services as needed.
Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform general labor duties including shoveling, lifting, cleaning, and material handling.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to complete projects safely and on schedule.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
Previous hydro blasting, industrial cleaning, construction, oilfield, refinery, or labor experience preferred.
Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel when required.
Valid driver's license preferred.
TWIC Card and OSHA certifications are a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces when needed.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Comfortable working around industrial equipment and noisy environments.
