B.H. Inc. (BHI) is hiring a full-time Hydrovac Swamper (Hydrovac Laborer) in Cedar City, Utah to support our hydrovac operators with safe, efficient excavation work at project sites. Read on!WHAT WE OFFER- $20–$26 per hour, depending on experience- Weekly pay- Health, vision, and dental insurance- Life insurance- 401(k) with company match- Paid time off- Room to grow, with the opportunity to learn hydrovac operations and advance into an operator positionWHAT YOU'LL DO- Assist the Hydrovac Operator in completing excavation work safely and efficiently- Handle vacuum and water hoses during daily operations- Help pothole and expose underground utilities- Set up and maintain safe work zones at each jobsite- Help complete pre-trip inspections and make sure the truck, tools, hoses, and safety equipment are ready each day- Clean and organize the hydrovac truck and equipment after each job- Communicate with the operator and jobsite crews, and follow all safety proceduresQUALIFICATIONS- Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to learn- Able to perform physical labor, handle heavy hoses and equipment, and work outdoors in all weather conditions- Able to follow directions, work well with a crew, and communicate clearly- Able to travel to project sites and work occasional overtimeSCHEDULE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT- Schedule: Full-time, typically Monday–Friday.
