Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the Hydrologist position is a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong foundational knowledge of environmental science, regulations, and best practices. They possess a bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrology, Civil Engineering, or Environemntal Engineering, and have a minimum of four years hydrological/hydrogeological experience. They are proficient preparing hydrological/hydro-geological reports for local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and have experience in groundwater monitoring and solid waste or underground injection control programs. They have strong interpersonal skills which enable them to collaborate with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and the public. The ideal candidate is committed to environmental stewardship, continuous learning, and shows initiative in supporting programs related to environmental protection, pollution prevention, and resource conservation. Position serves as technical advisor, senior project coordinator, and manager for hydrological/hydro-geological projects to ensure compliancewith accepted hydrological/hydro-geological practices and regulations. A licensed Professional Geologist or licensed Professional Engineer is preferred.
