Title: Hydromat Operator
Shift: 2nd - 3pm-11:30pm, M-F
Salary: $22-$28/hr+ depending on experience
Hydromat Operator Role:
Our client is seeking a skilled operator to set up, run, and maintain rotary transfer machines for high-volume, precision metal machining. This role exists to ensure the efficient production of high-quality components while minimizing downtime through expert troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
Hydromat Operator Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor Hydromat rotary transfer machines for precision production runs
Perform offsets and tooling adjustments to maintain strict part quality and machine efficiency
Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and process sheets to meet exact specifications
Inspect finished components using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges
Identify and resolve machine or process issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal equipment function
Record production data, inspection results, and equipment performance accurately
Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards including daily preventive maintenance tasks
Hydromat Operator Reporting Relationships:
The Hydromat Operator reports to the Operations Department management; this position does not have any direct reports.
About You:
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and experience as a CNC machine operator
Provide a minimum of 2–3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably with Hydromat or similar equipment
Maintain the ability to read and understand complex blueprints and work instructions
Perform at high levels in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Exhibit strong communication skills and basic math proficiency
Commit to regular, predictable attendance and the availability for overtime
Work effectively as a collaborative member of a production team

Additional Information:
Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods, and the ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds (and occasionally up to 100 pounds). Specific vision abilities including close vision and depth perception are required.
Work Environment: The environment is a manufacturing setting where noise levels are moderate to loud. Operators may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and fumes or airborne particles.
