About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Assist hygienists in providing high-quality dental cleanings and treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques.
• Ensure the hygiene area is clean and organized for optimal efficiency.
• Support the front office with scheduling and patient check-in as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
• Certification: Current Pennsylvania X-ray Certification is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a dental office or related field is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.
