    Job SummaryThe Hyundai Service Technician position at the Mills Auto Group in Hampton, Virginia is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented technician to take on a full-time skilled labor role. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles for the dealership, providing excellent customer service, and working professionally with colleagues and customers.Compensation & BenefitsThe Hyundai Service Technician will be offered a competitive salary commensurate with experience. In addition, there are excellent benefits packages, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, accrued vacation and holiday pay, 401(k) retirement and tuition reimbursement plans.Responsibilities:• Diagnose and repair vehicles, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment• Demonstrate safety and tidiness throughout the garage• Handle customer concerns and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner• Perform regular vehicle maintenance including oil and filter changes, lubrications, and tire rotations• Inspect vehicles for safety related issues• Consult with other technicians to discuss and advise on the diagnostic and repair process• Follow dealership policies and proceduresRequirements• At least 2 years of experience as a technician for a dealership or related auto industry organization• ASE certification a plus• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team• Positive and professional attitude• Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations• High school diploma or GEDEqual Employment Opportunity StatementMills Auto Group is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
