Key Accountabilities:
- Proficient skills for maintaining equipment at the plant
- Performs troubleshooting and documentation, and assists in the resolution of problems discovered on shift
- Performs daily maintenance, overhauls, calibration, troubleshooting, repair/replacement and removal/installation of plant equipment and systems.
- Makes decisions and recommends appropriate repair techniques for plant equipment to peers, supervisors, plant management.
- Proficient in operating material handling equipment
- Develops and implements plant operating procedures
- Understands relationship of equipment to plant systems
- May provide instruction and teaching to fellow team members
- Ensures strict adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures as they relate to plant operations and maintenance including but not limited to Lockout Tagout, Job Safety Analysis, Confined Space, Hot Work, Electrical Safety and PPE
LEVEL OF POSITION WILL BE DETERMINED BY APPLICABLE SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
Required Experience & Technical Skills
- Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and updating Instrumentation & Controls systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), industrial networks, data historians, and control logic.
- Knowledge of industrial computer networking, including experience with common industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, OPC).
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent. Practical experience obtained through a college degree program, trade school, technical training school, or military technical training, with a focus on electrical, instrumentation, or controls disciplines.
- Knowledge in tuning control loops, calibrating field instruments, and supporting process data communications.
- Understanding of industrial process control principles, including PID control, interlocks, alarms, and control strategies.
- Working knowledge of PLC and DCS programming languages, configuration tools, and software platforms used in industrial environments.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex instrumentation, PLC, DCS, and network-related issues efficiently and safely.
- MUST successfully complete/pass POSS/MASS aptitude test. (All communication regarding the scheduling for this test will be sent to candidates personal email that is provided during application process.)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues across instrumentation, controls, and automation systems.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with operations, maintenance, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
- Willing and able to work overtime and respond to callouts as required to support plant operations.
- Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining system reliability in a critical industrial environment.

- Satisfactory completion of Tier 3 training and qualification requirements
- Demonstrate continual self improvement in job skills and knowledge.
