I&C Engineer
We are hiring an experienced I&C Engineer to lead the design, specification, integration, and testing of advanced instrumentation and control systems for our reactor technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of control logic, instrumentation, and system reliability in highly regulated environments.

I&C Engineer Responsibilities:
Design, specify, and test instrumentation and control systems, including PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems. Develop control system architectures, wiring diagrams, and functional specifications. Ensure integration of I&C systems with electrical, mechanical, and safety systems. Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and risk assessments related to I&C systems. Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation activities for new and existing systems. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to meet regulatory compliance and safety requirements. Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and technical reports related to I&C systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related field. 10+ years (or M.Sc. and 8+ years) of experience in I&C system design and implementation, preferably in the nuclear, energy, or aerospace industries. Proficiency with PLC programming, control logic development, and instrumentation selection. Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards related to I&C systems (e.g., IEEE, ISA, NRC). Familiarity with cybersecurity practices for control systems. Experience with project and contract management is preferred. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward licensure is a plus.
