Job Title: I&C Engineer
Location: Oak Ridge, TN
Type: Direct Hire

Overview:

We’re looking for an I&C Engineerto support Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) and testing activities in a nuclear environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, tearing down, and figuring out how older systems work.


Responsibilities:

  • Reverse engineer and troubleshoot obsolete/legacy electronic components
  • Support Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) for safety-related (QL1) equipment
  • Develop and execute test plans and qualification activities
  • Design and build test setups for electronic components
  • Perform failure analysis, repairs, and technical evaluations
  • Interpret data and generate clear, concise technical reports
  • Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear codes and standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, or related)
  • Experience working with electronic systems, including troubleshooting and reverse engineering
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
