I&C Specialist 1

** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced I&C Specialist to fill a ten-month contract assignment in the Wilsonville, AL area.


This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Job Title: I&C Specialist 1

Work Location: Wilsonville, AL

Required PPE: Hard Hat, Steel Toe Boots, Safety Vest, Safety Glasses, and Hearing Protection

Requirements:

Must be willing and available for call- out responsibilities on a rotating weekly basis (to include holidays and weekends as needed).

• Four-year degree, two-year technical certification, and/or an associate degree in electronics preferred or equivalent experience required.
• An ABET accredited degree is required for Engineer candidates.
• Experience with Distributed Control System (DCS), Turbine Control System (TCS), or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is required.
• Ability to understand plant systems and boiler controls required.

 

• Experience with electronics, instrumentation, program configuration, and plant electrical maintenance is preferred.
• Emerson Ovation experience is preferred.
• GE Mark VIe experience is a plus.
• Must be team-oriented and have excellent communication skills.
• Possession of strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions with limited information required.
