    As an I&C Superintendent, you will lead Instrumentation & Controls field execution within a semiconductor construction environment. This role is responsible for managing subcontractors, coordinating multi-trade installation activities, and ensuring all low-voltage, controls, and telecom infrastructure is installed safely, correctly, and ready for testing and commissioning turnover. You will act as a key field leader, driving coordination between CSA, mechanical, and electrical teams while maintaining strict safety, quality, and schedule performance standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Enforce safety requirements for low-voltage and controls installations across all field activities
    • Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), pre-task planning, and daily field safety audits
    • Manage subcontractors performing low-voltage, controls, and telecom installation work, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule expectations
    • Lead daily whiteboard meetings, weekly work planning sessions, and owner/client progress report-outs
    • Coordinate closely with CSA, mechanical, and electrical trades to ensure proper routing, system segregation, and integrated installation execution
    • Ensure all I&C systems are installed in accordance with design documents, specifications, and project requirements
    • Perform quality inspections of installed infrastructure to verify compliance and readiness for testing and turnover
    • Coordinate with owner representatives and design teams to resolve RFIs, field conflicts, and installation challenges
    • Support startup and commissioning activities for utilities, equipment, and safety systems
    • Track installation progress and ensure work is completed to support commissioning and project schedule milestones
    • Identify construction risks, constraints, and field issues, implementing corrective actions to maintain productivity and safety
    • Ensure subcontractors are planning safe and compliant installation activities for each definable feature of work
    • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders including subcontractors, client representatives, and project leadership
    • Perform any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to support project delivery

    Skills Required:

    • Strong experience in semiconductor or mission-critical construction environments
    • Proven ability to manage subcontractors in low-voltage, controls, or telecom scopes of work
    • Strong understanding of instrumentation, controls, and low-voltage infrastructure systems
    • Experience coordinating multi-trade field execution (CSA, mechanical, electrical, telecom)
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and installation sequencing requirements
    • Understanding of construction scheduling concepts, including Primavera P6 logic ties and sequencing
    • Strong leadership skills with ability to drive accountability in field teams
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders
    • Strong problem-solving ability in fast-paced construction environments
    • Strong focus on safety compliance, quality assurance, and installation readiness

    Education / Licenses / Certifications:

    • Industry experience in semiconductor or mission-critical construction strongly preferred
    • Relevant construction, electrical, or controls experience considered in place of formal education
    • OSHA or equivalent safety training preferred
    • Additional certifications in construction management or controls systems considered a plus
