Job Title: ID Grinder Location: Valencia, CA Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; overtime as needed)
Tuesday - Saturday
Wednesday - Sunday
Pay: $21.00 - $30.00/hr DOE
Position Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented ID Grinder to operate conventional equipment for internal diameter grinding of aerospace landing gear components. This role requires precision, blueprint reading, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate conventional I.D. grinders
Grind internal diameters to tight tolerances
Read blueprints, travelers, and work orders
Measure parts using bore gauges and precision tools
Adjust speeds, feeds, and tooling as needed
Perform basic machine maintenance and documentation
Follow all safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR)
High school diploma or GED
2-5 years of I.D. grinding experience
Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
Experience with precision instruments
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
