We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced I&E Tech to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, Troubleshooting and repair of electrical, SCADA, and automation systems. This role demands a deep understanding of industrial electrical systems, SCADA systems, proficiency in industrial automation, and a commitment to maintaining reliable data communication, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, inspections and testing of electrical systems and equipment to ensure reliable operation and compliance with safety standards.
Installation & Commissioning: Install, connect, and commission new electrical systems, equipment, and components, including motors, transformers, generators, and control systems. Install, configure, and commission Automation/SCADA hardware and software, including PLCs, RTUs, HMI, and communication networks
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults and breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize operational downtime. Diagnose and resolve issues related to systems, including communication failures, software bugs, and hardware malfunctions
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices, including the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and participation in safety drills and training.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work, including inspections, repairs, and modifications, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in this role. Offshore experience preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, motors, drives, and control systems.
Proficient in reading and interpreting P&ID’s, SAFE Charts, Cause and Effect, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Ethernet).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to troubleshoot and potentially repair end devices.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Working Conditions:
Schedule: As Required.
Work in various weather conditions, including exposure to high winds, heavy machinery noise, and confined spaces.
Physically demanding tasks may be required, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
