Position Summary Pacific Tech Communications Inc. (PTC) is actively seeking experienced Installation & Repair (I&R) Technicians to support high-volume residential and commercial service projects within a major telecommunications program.This role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fiber and coaxial services, ensuring quality customer experience and adherence to production and safety standards.Key Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic and/or coaxial cable servicesInstall and configure internet, video, and voice services at customer locationsTroubleshoot signal issues, connectivity problems, and service interruptionsRead and interpret work orders, network diagrams, and test resultsEnsure proper installation of drops, modems, ONTs, and related equipmentMaintain compliance with company standards, client specifications, and safety regulationsComplete all required documentation, photos, and closeout reports accurately and timelyProvide professional customer interaction and represent PTC in the fieldRequired Qualifications 1–3+ years of experience in telecom installation & repair (fiber and/or coax)Experience with residential or commercial service installs (FTTH, HFC, or similar)Ability to use test equipment (signal meters, OTDR, etc.)Understanding of drop installation, inside wiring, and premise equipment setupValid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to pass background check and drug screeningPreferred Qualifications Experience working on large-scale MSO or ISP programsKnowledge of XGS-PON, GPON, or DOCSIS networksCertifications (SCTE, Fiber Optic, OSHA 10/30)Previous experience meeting production metrics and service SLAsCompensation & Details Competitive pay (DOE)Production incentives may be availableTravel opportunities depending on project needsCompany vehicle / tools may be provided (based on role type)Why Join PTC At Pacific Tech Communications, we specialize in turnkey OSP/ISP construction, fiber deployment, and workforce solutions nationwide.
