E-logic is seeking an IBM DataStage Administrator to maintain, configure, and secure the the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Office of Inspector General (OIG) critical core ETL engine as it transitions through various phases of modernization. This role will be hybrid in Washington DC area, as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, tune, and maintain IBM InfoSphere Information Server (DataStage/QualityStage) hosted on RHEL Amazon EC2 instances.
- Manage environment configurations, user access controls, and administrative accounts, ensuring system-level auditing matches OPM compliance mandates.
- Troubleshoot execution failures, coordinate software upgrades, and plan for the eventual decommission and license transfers during transition phases.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of core IBM DataStage Administration experience, preferably within a federal agency or healthcare data network.
- Familiarity with the data confidentiality standards required when handling sensitive health insurance or OIG investigation records.
- Deep knowledge of InfoSphere engine tuning on RHEL/Linux, script optimization, and connectivity to Amazon Redshift/PostgreSQL.
