Job Description
<.>Job Title: IBM DataStage ETL Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19113 (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and ETL development
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage (8.x/11.x)
- Strong experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c), SQL, and PL/SQL
- Experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), ODS, and Data Marts
- Good knowledge of ETL concepts such as CDC, Incremental Loads, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)
- Experience in ETL job performance tuning and Oracle query optimization
- Basic to intermediate Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
- Experience with job scheduling tools like Tidal or similar
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize IBM DataStage ETL jobs
- Provide production support, rerun failed jobs, and perform data reconciliation
- Perform root cause analysis for ETL and data-related issues
- Implement error handling, logging, and restart capabilities in ETL jobs
- Work with business and technical teams to resolve production issues
- Ensure smooth ETL operations and data quality
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and work independently
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the Healthcare domain
