Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Delivery Consultant with strong expertise in IBM integration technologies, including IBM MQ, IBM API Connect (APIC), IBM DataPower, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I). The role focuses on delivering, optimizing, and supporting hybrid cloud integration solutions across enterprise environments, including OpenShift, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor for enterprise clients on IBM MQ, APIC, DataPower, ACE, CP4I, and Kafka-based integration solutions
- Design, implement, migrate, and optimize integration platforms across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Support IBM MQ environments including distributed and z/OS/mainframe-based systems
- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and incident resolution
- Deliver client workshops, technical enablement sessions, and solution knowledge transfer
- Work on OpenShift-based deployments, upgrades, scaling, and lifecycle management
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and service-level requirements
- Collaborate with IBM internal teams and client stakeholders for end-to-end delivery
- Contribute to automation, modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in IBM MQ, APIC, DataPower, ACE, CP4I, and Kafka
- Strong expertise in IBM MQ (queue manager design, clustering, TLS/CHLAUTH, performance tuning, and z/OS MQ exposure)
- Experience with IBM API Connect (APIC) and IBM DataPower integration and administration
- Deep knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes and hybrid cloud integration architectures
- Experience with Kafka (topics, consumers, event streaming, and optimization)
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root-cause analysis skills
- Experience in migration, upgrades, and enterprise integration delivery
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix, scripting (Shell/Python), and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills
Preferred Skills
- IBM, Red Hat OpenShift, AWS/Azure certifications
- Experience with automation, monitoring, and observability tools
- Knowledge of mainframe/zOS integration environments
- Agile or project delivery experience
