Amatriot is seeking IBS and Tactical Terminal Support to understand and articulate Air Force MAJCOM, component, and weapon system IBS data requirements to the Joint IBS Community. These include new data requirements, revisions to existing and emerging message formats, and architecture modifications.
The role assists ACC/A5J in synchronizing current and future Joint IBS Enterprise requirements and provides broadcast, data dissemination, and Air Force Tactical Terminal (AFTT) technical assistance to platform System Program Offices (SPOs) during IBS terminal integration.
Location: Langley AFB, Hampton, VA, USA.
Develop IBS inputs to Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), Concepts of Employment (CONEMPs), Information Support Plans (ISPs), and CDDs for Air Force weapon systems.
Provide input to AFTT documentation, including System Operating Manuals (SOMs), Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), and Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs).
Participate in technical, integrated logistics support (ILS), and program meetings.
Understand and articulate Air Force MAJCOM, component, and weapon system IBS hardware requirements, including changes to existing configurations.
Coordinate with SPOs and operating commands to validate integration funding availability and schedules.
Assist with advocacy and planning for funding, procurement, acceptance, testing, and fielding of technology insertion and upgrades.
Coordinate with depots and users to ensure accurate, accountable shipment and return of COMSEC Controlled Items (CCI).
Assist in identifying and validating Air Force and Joint user IBS software application requirements.
Support configuration management processes for Air Force IBS software.
Coordinate approved CCB changes to IBS software baselines and identify associated update costs.
Identify distribution needs and coordinate delivery of Air Force IBS software applications to Joint users.
Identify current and out-year program funding needs for software sustainment advocacy.
Support service-wide IBS training capability for a user base of more than 2,000.
Develop and assist in implementing approved IBS training plans covering architecture, broadcasts, data types, and dissemination timelines for all hardware terminals and software applications.
Develop scalable training materials that meet Air Force user organization needs and are ready for handoff to Weapons School, Mission Planning School, and enlisted and officer courses.
Assist in developing and coordinating planning and programming documentation, Program Objective Memoranda (POM) justifications, briefings, and submissions.
Assist in evaluating initiatives, disconnects, and offsets.
Assist in developing unfunded requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, management, or another related technical or scientific discipline. [Required]
Minimum of five (5) years of Information Technology experience in the Intelligence Community or with similar systems. [Required]
Three (3) years supporting data dissemination architectures, including UHF, alternate Over-The-Air (OTA) paths, SIPRNET, and JWICS. [Required]
Three (3) years supporting IBS or similar inter-service interoperability. [Required]
Minimum of five (5) years of action officer experience. [Required]
Three (3) years of prior staff experience at Higher Headquarters (HHQ), such as MAJCOM, NAF, HAF, or equivalent. [Required]
Understanding of IBS architectures used by other services and Five Eyes collaborating nations to use existing capabilities in support of Air Force, Joint, and coalition warfighters. [Required]
Active TS/SCI or, at minimum, Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. [Required]
Core hours are 0800–1700, Monday–Friday; hours can be set with customer leadership.
Time may be flexed during the two-week pay cycle to avoid using PTO for appointments.
A compressed work schedule, such as 4/10 or 9/80, may be available at work center leadership’s discretion.
