S&L Hospitality along with Lundy's Ice Cream Shop in Fargo, ND., is now accepting applications for part time Ice Cream Scoopers!
We are looking for hard-working individuals with exceptional customer service skills who enjoy a fast paced, fun, flexible atmosphere and a love for premium ice cream.
This position may be eligible for tips.
Here's the scoop on being an Ice Cream Scooper:
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
- Work as part of a team to provide the best possible product and customer experience.
- Learn about our company, our history, and our premium ice cream products.
- Become familiar with our flavors, ingredients, and allergen information to assist guests.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Communicate with team members and managers regarding inventory and operational needs.
- Complete opening, closing, and shift checklists.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Follow all food safety and company safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous customer service and cash handling experience is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including walk-in coolers and freezers.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
This position is subject to successful completion of a background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role.
