The Clift Royal Sonesta San Francisco is seeking an exceptional Server to join the legendary Redwood Room—one of San Francisco's most iconic cocktail lounges. Since opening in 1933, the Redwood Room has welcomed generations of locals, travelers, celebrities, and industry leaders with its distinctive ambiance, handcrafted cocktails, and elevated service.

What You'll Do

• Deliver warm, personalized service to every guest from greeting through farewell.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, spirits, and daily features.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
• Anticipate guest needs while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively with bartenders, hosts, culinary team members, and fellow servers to provide seamless service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining and lounge environment.
• Process guest payments accurately using the hotel's POS system.
• Follow all food safety, responsible alcohol service, and company standards.
• Help create the sophisticated yet approachable atmosphere that has made the Redwood Room a San Francisco landmark.

What We're Looking For

• Previous serving experience in an upscale restaurant, cocktail lounge, luxury hotel, or fine dining environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining composure in a high-volume environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification, or the ability to obtain one before employment.
