Position Summary<\/span><\/span>

As the ICU Charge Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership during assigned shifts by coordinating patient care, delegating duties, supporting staff, and ensuring high -quality, age -appropriate care. This role serves as a key clinical resource while promoting accountability, teamwork, and excellent patient outcomes.<\/span><\/span>

What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span>

  • Coordinate and oversee patient care during assigned shifts<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Delegate responsibilities and ensure quality patient outcomes<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assess patient care needs and provide appropriate nursing interventions<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Promote a collaborative, patient -centered care environment<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    What We Are Looking For<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p>

    Qualifications<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Current Alabama RN license required; BSN preferred<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Previous Charge Nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong knowledge of ICU, triage, and urgent care practices<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Case management or outpatient experience is a plus<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to complete hospital -based ACLS and PALS within one year of employment <\/span><\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
