Responsibilities:
Functions in a leadership role as a unit-based clinical resource and educator. Responsible for staff development, orientation and onboarding, competency, patient education, and quality improvement. Supports established standards of care and practice through training, staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient/staff education. Serves as a role model of clinical excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing
Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
Two (2) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the clinical specialty.
Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support.
Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
PREFERRED
Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
