• 13-Week Contract

• Day Shift

• 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

• Floating Required

• ASAP Start

• No Call Required

Pay

• $52 – $54 per hour

• Approx. $1,872 – $2,592 per week gross
  (depending on 36 or 48 hours worked)

Unit Information

• 12-Bed ICU Unit

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2–3

• EMR System: MedHost

• Scrub Color: Any

Requirements

• Active RN license required

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required

• BLS certification required

• ACLS certification required

• ER experience required

• Med Surg experience required

• TNCC preferred

• Experience with:

  • Ventilators

  • Titratable drips

  • Mixing medications

  • Patient hygiene/care

• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU patient total care

• Manage ventilated and critical care patients

• Administer titratable drips and medications

• Float to ER and Med Surg units as needed

• Assist with patient care, IV starts, blood draws, and medication administration

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Floating Information

• Floating rotation maintained by ICU float log

• ER floating involves support tasks, not full patient assignments

• Med Surg floating may include full patient assignments up to 6 patients or aide support duties
