Join Our Team as an ICU Registered Nurse – Critical Care Float Pool (Night Shift)

Our prestigious healthcare organization invites experienced ICU Registered Nurses to become vital members of our Critical Care Float Pool. In this role, you’ll not only provide exceptional patient care across multiple ICU units but also enjoy a supportive environment that values your skills and professional growth.

What You Will Do:
  • Float to various ICU units including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, and NCCU based on staffing needs and patient acuity.
  • Deliver high-quality critical care with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
  • Adapt quickly to different clinical environments, applying your expertise to meet diverse patient needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management.
  • Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity in accordance with hospital policies.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous travel nursing experience.
  • Experience with advanced ventilator systems and complex cardiac monitoring.
  • Additional certifications in critical care or specialized ICU procedures.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with active state licensure.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
  • At least two years of recent ICU experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Other Requirements:
  • Night shift availability (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00 – 07:30).
  • Willingness to float within designated ICU units.
  • Must possess and maintain all required certifications and licensure.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. and pass a background check as per hospital policies.
