Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care to critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit
  • Perform continuous monitoring and clinical assessment of patient status
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition with timely clinical action
  • Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation throughout each shift
  • Uphold patient safety standards and follow established ICU protocols

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Mexico required
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required
  • Current Basic Life Support certification required
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
  • If relocating, must be available to start within 30 to 45 days of acceptance
  • Minimum of one year of ICU experience preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience in any nursing department preferred
