Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality ICU patient care per physician orders and hospital standards.

  • Monitor patient status, document findings, and escalate changes promptly.

  • Administer medications and IV therapies with strict safety protocols.

  • Ensure infection prevention and control practices are consistently followed.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and meet key performance indicators.

  • Assist in triage and prioritization during high-acuity periods to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, care plans, and discharge instructions.

  • Demonstrate initiative for professional growth and pursue relevant certifications.

  • Maintain equipment readiness; perform routine checks and report malfunctions.

  • Adhere to contract services standards and on-site policies, ensuring compliance.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the relevant state.

  • ICU RN with critical care experience and ventilator management.

  • Ability to monitor, document, and escalate patient status per protocol.

  • Administer medications and IV therapies following safety protocols.

  • Infection prevention and control practices consistently applied.

  • Proficient in electronic health records and timely charting.

  • Strong teamwork with multidisciplinary care planning and coordination.

  • Participation in quality improvement initiatives and KPI attainment.

  • Triage and prioritization skills during high-acuity periods.

  • Patient and family education about procedures, care plans, and discharge.

  • Commitment to professional growth and pursuing relevant certifications (e.g., CCRN).

  • Equipment readiness and routine safety checks with fault reporting.

  • Compliance with on-site policies and contract services standards.

  • Ability to thrive in a growth-oriented, metrics-driven environment.

  • Contract role readiness with on-site presence and flexible scheduling.
